This post is so very near and dear to my heart. You see, I have known Jocelyn since she was a little baby. I have been friends her mom since I was 17. I have watched Jocelyn grow up into this incredibly beautiful, talented and smart young lady. She has always had a passion for music, singing and playing her guitar. In the past year she had started playing locally for different bars and restaurants, and well, one thing lead to another, and she was releasing a album. Her first album. I got the pleasure to spend a late spring evening with her, photographing what was going to be her cover. She has such a soulful voice, that can be so mesmerizing, I really wanted to make our session all about that. We ended up at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Annapolis for her shoot. We really just hung out, and I photographed her as she played her guitar and sung for me. I totally encourage you to head over to her website and take a listen. You will not be disappointed. And she also sings locally in Annapolis most weeks. You can either find her at Blackwall Hitch or Federal House. Come out, have a drink and just be mesmerized by her for a few hours. Take note this girl is going somewhere and I can't thank her enough for allowing me to be a part of her journey. I could not be more proud of her. She is such a positive inspiration to all young musicians out there to never give up on your dreams.
