This year I got to spend a few days in Ocean City, MD with niece and her parents. We had a blast. This kid loves the beach. I mean loves the beach. We literally have to drag her back home when the day ends. She also loves to get up early. Which worked out perfect on Saturday. While my sister made breakfast, I took Macie out to take her 5 year pictures. I really can't believe this kid is 5. At all. Normally photos with her, are a bit tricky. This time, I was doing this alone. But it worked out so well. We ended up hanging out and just doing the things we do best. Talking and talking and more talking. We talked about her best friend, about collecting shells, twirling in pretty dresses and then but of course, MERMAIDS.....
