I was so excited to meet Katherine and Drew!! Katherine reached out me through a friend/client to schedule their maternity and newborn session. They are so excited to welcoming a little girl in February and Katherine just glows!! We met up in downtown Annapolis for a evening sunset session. It was seriously one of prettiest days ever. There was a chance of storms that evening but nothing that would cause alarm. But as we all know, Maryland weather changes it's mind every second. When we started we had sunny skies and with in 15 minutes, the skies turned dark and this wind out of no where came. What leaves were on the trees were now on the ground. Clearly a cold front was blowing through and what was a 7o degree day 15 minutes earlier was now 45 degrees and dropping fast. But they were such troopers and wanted to finish their session. We started at the state house and even braved a few shots on the docks before our hands froze, snuck into Starbucks for a coffee and then headed back out. They told me all about Emma's nursery. We talked about our jobs...laughed hysterically and well..tried not to freeze! I can't wait to meet their sweet little baby in just a few short months!!
