When we had our first meeting to talk about wedding details and to plan for Abi and Tom's engagement session, they knew right away they wanted a place that was meaningful to them. Several options where tossed about and a few weeks later Abi emailed me with what they decided and oh my word I got so dang excited immediately.
We started off at the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum for the first part of the session. They both met here a few years ago and I got to here all the special details, plus we laughed a lot. These two just have a really special connection and Tom is always saying something that gets Abi laughing. They balance each other so well. I really like stepping back and watching them together. It's pretty special.
Once we finished here, we went up the road to the Greyhound Rescue. Which oh my word, pulling up I was blown away. It's such a super place and knowing this place exists for these animals to come to makes me believe there are really angels in this world. Not only does Abi volunteer here, and she is so beyond passionate about her work, but they also adopted their sweet pup a year ago from here. Those pups...oh my goodness. To cute for words. While we got a lot of great photos of them with their parents, they also had a blast running around the property. Super fun evening, amazing light, fabulous couple, puppy kisses.....I couldn't be more excited for their wedding!!
