I think the of my favorite things as a photographer is to get to be there to photograph my friend's and there growing families. We were there to watch Amanda and Chris tie the knot a few years ago and when they announced they were pregnant I was so excited. I also was secretly hoping this year I would get to photograph their sweet little family!! When Amanda reached out for dates for photos, I literally screamed in the car. So ecstatic. When the day finally arrived, I was literally ready to go all day.
We met up at one of my favorite places, for their family photos. Let me tell. It has been the only day in two months that it actually felt like fall. It was maybe 60 degrees and a bit windy. But little Ms. Kayla was such a trooper through the whole thing. She is fiercely independent, full of personality, super inquisitive and on the go from the moment she was put down. One is always a fun age and we played in the leaves, ran, walked, got a tad wet by a water fountain and even stopped to smell the roses ( literally) a few times a long the way. This was the first fall session of season and has me so excited about the rest! Seriously..how stinking cute is this sweet baby girl!!
