Remember last year and the constant need to postpone sessions because of rain. Well, this year is no exception, except I have been rescheduling sessions based on ice, snowstorms, frigid cold. I mean it is Maryland and it is winter, so some of this is to be expected but it's been a bit to cold to take anyone out in this weather. And...that my friends is what happened twice with their session. Once we finally got a 3rd date picked, it was the only date that any of us could possibly do before their wedding in April. So...you know it would stand that we ended up with the coldest day and pretty much another wind storm again. We went with it.
I met Autumn and Gino in October of last year and from the first few emails, I knew they were going to fun couple to work with. First!! They met over the jokes inside the Natty Boh caps. Autumn is a Baltimore native and Gino is not. So, he had been out one night in Fells Point with some friends and by fate these guys met each other. Gino pretty much just tossed the cap with out reading it which is a big no no. They ended up chatting and then the guys left. Autumn said they asked to come but somehow she didn't hear to which place, and they left, she left separately and well somehow they still ended up at the same place. I think it was fate. The stars and moon aligned that night and I am so glad they did!! These two have such big personalities, but are also super laid back. Autumn is a former photographer and was very very clear on what she wanted for her session and weddings, which makes my job so much easier.
We met up on a Friday night in Fells, at the Cats Eye Pub to start their session. It was cold, windy and the night before St. Patricks day. Sooo...it was a bit more crowded then usual. But honestly we just rolled with it and these guys were such troopers through it all. I know for a fact I could not possibly feel my finger tips for days after. I can't wait to catch back up with these two in a few short weeks for their wedding!!
