baltimore maryland photographer | a rawlings conservatory maternity session | morgan

I will not forgot the first time I met these two at a coffee shop to discuss the possibility of shooting their wedding. I was so wanted them to choose me and I was just starting out in the wedding photography business, I wasn't certain they would. I swear, Morgan had the best poker face ever. BUT they did....and I will not forgot that phone call ever. Flash forward 3 years and these guys are expecting a baby girl in just a few short weeks. Michael actually reached out to me in December to book not only this maternity session for Morgan, but also their newborn session. It was one of her Christmas gifts and at the time, only family knew they were having a baby. I might of cried when I got the message for this. I think it was the sweetest thing I have ever had a hubby do for his wife. Michael, you did good!!

When the time came to schedule Morgan's session, we did not have a huge timeframe to work with. Between all the weddings I have and Morgan's schedule at work, we ended up with one weekend day that would work. Well, after the crazy spring we had and the weather being up and down, I was worried about where to shoot this. I wanted to make sure we had a solid option if it rained or was freezing. I did some research and decided it Rawlings Conservatory. We would have the best of both worlds, indoors and out and no matter what we wouldn't need to reschedule. Best decision and I am so glad their were game. Plus, I knew Morgan was going to wear Lilly Pulitzer, so it was honestly just the perfect location.

These guys are going to make the best parents. Both are on a we go with the flow vibe and are just taking everything in stride. Morgan also is a girl after my own heart and has a ton of mommy and me outfits already. Yes, you better believe I plan on a mommy and me session with those two when the baby is 6 months old. In meantime, I can't wait to meet her in a just a few short weeks!
