Everytime I photograph this family, I think, I can't top it. I will never be able to top this session and then the next session comes and MAGIC happens. Maybe it was all the warming up snuggles, maybe the tickles, or heck maybe even the most amazing light I have had in a long time. And not only that, we chased every last drop of that sunshine that Mother Nature provided for us. I almost never shoot families that late and this was a first and boy was it worth it. I think I need to shoot this late a bit more often. There is nothing better then sleepy babies, snuggling in their parents arms. BUT also, we got to celebrate MILA turning ONE!!! She's a girl after my own heart when it comes to cake. She just loved every last bite of it. Big brother Roman even got in on the action. Well, I am also pretty sure by the end of it, we were all covered in cake. My car actually still smells like cake. Which is good thing. Happy Birthday sweet girl! I can't wait watch you grow up. You are already so independent and adventurous. You are going to keep everyone on their toes!!
